‘The staff of Williamsburg Health & Rehab participated in the Relay for Life “Passport for a Cure” on Friday night, to raise money all while walking like an Egyptian. The theme “Passport For A Cure” is in reference to teams choosing a country to represent during the festivities and WHRC was quick to choose Egypt and some members were elated to dress accordingly.
It turned out to be a major success as the staff raised $2,500 and Williamsburg’s own, Sarah Stack, organized and coordinated the activities at the relay ceremony. Some of the activities included games, art, music and booths for children where they could take their passport to each location to be stamped for a chance to win prizes.
