Resident Barbara Wasano, RN, graduated from Charity Hospital College of Nursing in New Orleans Louisiana in 1962. She was honored as their outstanding nurse of the 100th graduating class. (See news article). During her career, Ms. Wasano served in the United Stars Navy and also worked as a charge nurse in Long Term Care. Of her days as a nurse, Barbara says, “I wanted it done correctly, I probably wasn’t always the nice nurse, but I got the job done. I loved every minute of it.” We are sure she kept everyone in line. Our thanks to Ms. Wasano for your dedication to the field of nursing and your service to our country.
