Just a little fur-baby appreciation post. ??
Our lovely full-time working, four-legged friends are wonderful companions for our residents, families, and staff. Silas continues to love the attention, likes to play with his toys (and also Lucy’s toys), loves giving hugs, can’t get enough belly rubs, hates car rides to the groomer and vet ?, and likes sneaking in all the snacks he can get, even though the staff tell him otherwise! Mandi is slowly coming out of her shell and likes to be the door greeter. She can often be found being the lap cat and likes to check out what’s going on in the lobby. While she doesn’t venture far from the office, she will occasionally be seen in a window or two as she is a top-notch bird watcher. Lucy is the laziest of the three. Girl needs her nap!! ? ??‍♀️ She is clingy and loves to follow staff around. She’s become quite the escape artist and thinks it’s fun to try. Staff say otherwise. ? Other than napping, Lucy loves head rubs. Once you start, she won’t let you stop! When she first came to us, she had some health issues which we treated. We are happy to report that she received a good health report today and is healthy (as well as quite the chunker). It’s been fun learning each of their personalities and we think they each fit into our home perfectly. As one resident said today, they “protect us.” ❤️
