In keeping with the Nursing Home Week theme, “Nurturing Connections” our residents “connected” with some fellow nursing home residents and other friends from across the US. Our travel club included sights and sounds from Tennessee, Georgia, Missouri, Iowa, Idaho, Kansas, Arizona, Texas, and Oregon. The residents then enjoyed putting together info packets to send back to our new friends from across the country. We also enjoyed an afternoon performance from the Tri-County Line Dancers.
