Relay for Life was a huge success. Team Williamsburg Health and Rehabilitation Center raised over $2,000.00 for the American Cancer Society!
We are thankful for our sponsors and community members who participated in our silent auction. The auction was filled with items donated by local businesses, such as Spartina and Michael Kors purses, flower arrangements, gift baskets, and so much more. All proceeds went directly to Relay for Life.
We had a great time at the walk. We even wore super hero inspired outfits to represent all the heroes served by the American Cancer Society.
Earlier this week, we also had the pleasure of honoring some of our own heroes here at Williamsburg HRC. We celebrated our resident cancer survivors with a mini Relay for Life walk. Daily, we are inspired by their courageous fights and honored to carry on the battle for a cure.
Williamsburg Health and Rehabilitation Center is located in Southeastern Kentucky, near the beautiful University of the Cumberlands campus. We provide many services including 24-hour nursing, physicians, radiology, laboratory, and pharmacy services. We also provide physical, occupational, and speech therapy.
