Our Valentine fundraiser was a success at Williamsburg Health and Rehabilitation Center! We raised over $200.00 for our Resident Activity Fund by selling Valentine Bouquets.
We also had a drawing for a gift basket from our friends in Lexington, My Favorite Things. The basket was filled with plenty of Valentine goodies. Judy Gabbard was our lucky winner of the basket!
Our Resident Activity Fund helps us keep residents involved in the community and provide them with meaningful, energetic activities that reflect residents’ interests. Such activities include fishing trips, picnics, cooking classes, and bingo. These activities are designed to help give our residents the opportunity to not only maintain but improve their quality of life.
The Valentine Bouquet Sale was a great way to raise awareness throughout the community about what we do for our residents here at Williamsburg HRC, and it was a fun way to raise money for this great cause!
Williamsburg Health and Rehabilitation Center is located in Southeastern Kentucky, near the beautiful University of the Cumberlands campus. We provide many services including 24-hour nursing, physicians, radiology, laboratory, and pharmacy services. We also provide physical, occupational, and speech therapy.
